How to start the process?

  • Drop us a WhatsApp chat or an email indicating your preferred time, date and location (and preferred art therapist, if any) for the first meeting.

  • We will get back to you within 2-3 working days.

  • The first meeting usually includes both consultation and a single-session art therapy.

What are your rates?

  • We offer different rates for adults, children/seniors and individuals with financial challenges.

How to know if my appointment has been confirmed?

  • Appointment booking is completed only upon receipt of full payment.

  • A confirmation email will be sent once payment has been verified.

How to cancel my appointment?

  • Inform of cancellation at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.

  • No refund for no-shows and cancellations/postponements less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.

What happens during the consultation?

  • We will clarify your expectations for therapy and answer your questions.

  • Service agreement will be discussed and you can find out if the therapist is a good fit for you.

What is art therapy?

Art therapy is a gentle form of psychotherapy where one's created artwork becomes a therapeutic tool to facilitate symbolic, and non-verbal communication. Through the therapeutic art encounter, one can make sense of and reconcile with one's inner thoughts and emotions.

Unlike art lessons or art-jamming sessions, art therapy provides a  confidential and safe experience that allows one to explore challenges and difficulties, supported by accredited art therapists and evidenced-based psychotherapy practices.

Who is suitable for art therapy?

Anyone may require some guidance and support to cope with stresses and difficult emotions along life's journey. Each life phase may present unique challenges that present opportunities for processing through therapeutic art.

Art therapy also offers an opportunity for individuals to build a wide range of skills and to communicate using metaphors, which may be more comfortable and effective than using spoken language.

No prior art-making experience or specific skill is required as art therapy taps into our innate ability to imagine and communicate.

What happens during the session?

  • All art materials will be provided.

  • We will work towards therapeutic goals we had agreed upon or explore any other pressing issues that surfaced.
